Default indexing

Yahoo needs to get better at indexing and ranking news information. I was searching for a newish story and it was really hard to find information about it. Google will let trusted sites rank well for recent news stories and MSN does a good job too but waiting for Yahoo to do there monthly update sends me to another engine.

I just don't understand Yahoo, or how they have a larger market share than MSN...

I agree.... I think MSN has imporved so much over the last few month. Yahoo needs to get a clue they are:

1) slow to index
2) let tons of sites with hidden links rank in the top
3) need to update their index more often
