Display Link Counts

Hi

I think Display Link Counts is not working properly or it is not programmed to do what i want to see.

When turn Display Link Counts to YES it does not show the count on the main page. it only shows the count when u go to category.

I fell i should show like this.

Sports(2)
Cricket(1), Football(1)

Computers(1)
Hardware, Software(1)

This is what i feel.
