Same here I just wonder how long it will last. We are well positioned for the biggest Internet shopping week of the year.

So you guys keep talking about Yahoo updates which seems to mean that there are changes in ranking factors. Most of mine do pretty good in Yahoo and they don't represent near as much traffic as Google so I really don't pay too much attention.
So the question, what factors do you see making more or less of a difference?

Anchor text from many sites.... Site-wide links use to work well but not as much anymore.

That's funny because I don't see that in Yahoo. It seems to be the anchor/number of links and the on page stuff. I haven't seen any correlation with the source or the theme with them.

On-page has always been good in Yahoo. But links are still king they just like them spread out more now and theme doesn't matter at this point.

But you mention site wides specifically and I see absolutely no correlation! There have to be other factors for the changes you're seeing IMO.

Well, Yahoo use to rank any site if they just had some basic on-page and a few site-wide links from some big sites. In fact 6-8 months ago I had a site that ranked well for a comp. KW with just a handful of site-wide links.
The last few months or so they got there act together and devalued the site-wides.... believe me or don't. I'm not the only person that has seen this... last week one of the speakers at pubcon had mention it as well.
So what does work???
Specific anchor text for your KW's, on-page and links from numerous websites..... Oh and hidden text. (not us) Some of the real estate SERPS have sites full of that ****.
