As the question above, I currently use hapEDIT, its a great handy "notepad" with syntax highlighting. I believe that this program has helped me increased activity by a large percentage and I recommend it to everyone. Its a free program and I think its great What other programs are there, and are they good? (What features etc.)
Thanks

Nice program suggestions, very true that both programs has a nice set of features. They seem to be great programs which are well worth the price. What file types does both support? Thanks

Sounds like a good mix of files you 2 editors features. I might also be interested in buying one of the 2, which do you reccommend? Also are there anymore good editors out there? I heard editplus was pretty good, has anyone used it before?

Another superb piece of software for coding is Zend Studio, fair enough it does cost $250 but for what it does its superb. Im still saving up to buy my copy, lol.
Forgot to add, its also got super debugging facilities built in. I know it works for PHP and javascript, not sure about HTML or anythin like that.

Zend Studio sound like a very good editor software but alittle higher priced. What special features does it have to make it so unique and expensive compared to the others?

I've used TextPad for a long time. Simple and easy to use. Also has a shareware version if you wanted to try it out. Only limitation is a "buy now" popup.

You should try out an editor, I've used notepad in the past and tried out hapEdit. I found that it increases productivity by alot and also its way more convenient. Don't ever think I'll go back to notepad
