I'm a crazy person that likes I.E. as well. You just have to run the spyware often.

Hehe nothing better than the ol' skool Net Explorer, although i would recommend Avant Browser very good better than Firefox.

I also use I.E. all the time, I'm happy with it and I do the spyware dance often. I don't really browse much, mostly searches. I installed firefox just to look if my sites looked ok... then byebye... lol

Safari for me. I very very rarely run into any problems. I'm a Mac user, and I always used to use IE, occasionally Netscape. But once Safari came out and it was updated a couple times, it's been great. I've heard some good things about FireFox, but never tried it.

Don't know about your situation, but Firefox fires up in a couple of seconds on my 2.4 GHz Windoze XP box. You can change the download location in the Tools->Options->Download Tab

I use FireFox, but it makes some sites look a little odd; with the tables, and forums mainly. It doesn't work well with CSS. But I think it's easier to use from a non-developer viewpoint than IE. The tabs are great.

You might add the "iview" extension - give you one click access to bring up the current page in IE - works great for me.

I personally prefer Firefox but I use IE on my office computers. Because most of my visitors also use IE, it means my sites always look perfect.
I test in other browsers of course, but there is no better site check then using the site yourself extensively.
