Default Question

On one of my directories I made an html page and uploaded it but it just shows the main directory page instead of the page that it should show. An example url www.whatever.com/page.html

I don't understand exactly what you are asking and your link doesn't have a directory.

Are you saying that you uploaded an html page and are unable to access it by typing the link in your address bar? That would be because the .htaccess file is rewriting the url. Hope that's what you meant

Put them in a different folder than the site sift directory. If you're running the directory in your root folder put your new webpages in a new folder and make a new blank .htaccess file for that folder so the mod rewrite isn't active for the files in that folder.
