I know MSN updates all the time but two days ago we had significant movement in a handful of our sites. We moved to #1 for a few KW's that we were not #1 for yet.

The most surprising movement was from a travel site of ours we came from nowhere to #3 for "City Name Travel" with just one site-wide link. This is giving us good traffic makes me wonder how much we could make if we actually optimized for that KW.

Yeah, I tend to use MSN as sort of like the Overture Keyword Tool. Once I rank up there (which only takes a week), I have an idea if the keyword ACTUALLY gets any traffic... and then I know whether I should continue to try for it in Google. Overture Keyword Tool is still used, of course, before any optimization takes place.

You have to give MSN a little love. In fact you can start turning a profit or at least breaking even with just MSN.
