Default Initiation of new deep cleaning

Besides brushing and flossing, regular teeth cleaning by a dentist should be conducted. This is very important because it is effective in removing the plaque and tartar that is formed even after careful brushing and flossing.

The dentist in a dental clinic provides professional dental care to their clients. Scaling and polishing are the two common methods that are practiced in a dental clinic under professional dental care.

This method is a non- surgical treatment. The main purpose of this method is to remove the infected deposits i.e. calculus and tartar from the surface of the tooth. The accumulation of the infected deposits is very harmful for the dentition.

If these accumulated deposits are not removed it will lead to the initiation of periodontal diseases. In these inflammatory diseases, the pockets which are found in between the tooth and the gun start to deepen.

The accumulation of periodontal pockets helps or provides a suitable environment for anaerobic bacteria to multiply in large number. The multiplication of anaerobic bacteria is very harmful for the dentition.

The multiplied bacteria lead to the initiation of infection within the gum and also star dissolving the bone that supports the tooth. Infection of the gum and dissolving of the bone will lead to the progressive loss of tooth in the oral cavity.

To prevent this situation, Scaling is conducted. This process can be referred as deep cleaning method used for cleaning and removing the deposits from the oral cavity.
