We can put it on the books for the next upgrade but if you are looking to block spammers... they change their IP's all the time so I'm not sure how useful this would really be.

Same urls / email banning / words ect can be very handy as a person with $50 program can get on your t--s

THanks again and glade its being thought of as it is an issue and thats why its on most programs

You can restrict submissions from the same URL now... either by category or the entire directory.. it's an option we added in the last upgrade.

I think we are going to start the planning of the next upgrade... I'm thinking of a release in October. We need to wrap up a few projects we have going first.

Cheers mate have got it know -- god know what happened

One quick question on the old up grade -- I only want the ban url function so would it possible to just up grade the admin side of things ??

Also being a bit dim how do you tell what version you are running for the upgrade

Sorry full of questions today - hehe

The other thing you can do is maybe ban directory submissions from specific IP addresses at a server level using CPanel or htaccess.
